Senorio de Barahonda Yecla Nabuko 2010

Senorio de Barahonda Yecla Nabuko 750ml 2010
Sku: 23650

Founded in 1925 in the town of Yecla, Bodegas Senorio de Barahonda is owned by the Candela family. The estate spans 840 acres and is located in one of the few wine regions in Spain that has been unaffected by phylloxera. Proximity to the Mediterranean provides a maritime climate with little rain ideal growing conditions for Monastrell, Syrah, Tempranilla and Merlot. The vineyards are composed of a limestone and chalk topsoil with clay and gravel underneath and are organically farmed.

Wine Advocate 89 points (Jun 2011)
The 2010 Nabuko is a blend of 50% Monastrell and 50% Syrah aged for 3 months in French oak. Underbrush, brier, smoked meat, and blueberry aromas lead to a wine with excellent volume, grip, and length. It will deliver enjoyment for another 5 years.
