Tramin Stoan 2013

Tramin Stoan 750ML 2013
Sku: 23877

Wine maker notes
Stoan comes from the German word ‘Stein’, meaning stone, and the name underscores the rocky terrain in which the vines are grown. Chardonnay (65%), Sauvignon (20%), Pinot Bianco (10%) and Gewurztraminer (5%). Stoan combines our most important white grapes to create a harmonious and superb interpretation of Alto Adige’s bounty. The vineyards for Stoan are planted between 400 – 550 meters in rocky, calcareous soils rich in minerals at the foot of the mountain range behind Tramin. Vines here are assured optimal ventilation thanks to the Ora, a wind that rises from Lake Garda in the early afternoon during the growing season.
