The Gamla Chardonnay combines apple, citrus and honeysuckle notes with hints of oak, caramel and spice. The wine`s medium body and elegance make it very drinkable. Gamla Chardonnay is ready to enjoy and will remain in good shape for the next 3-4 years, if stored in a cool dark place. We enjoy Gamla Chardonnay with grilled fish dressed with a squeeze of lemon, or chicken breasts marinated in lime juice and rosemary and then quickly seared.
Gamla Chardonnay is made entirely from Chardonnay grown in the cool northern Golan. Following a cold fermentation in stainless steel, the wine aged for four months in small French oak barrels.

| The Galilee (or Galil) is the most northern, and generally considered the best, appellation in Israel. The highest quality area within the appellation is the Golan Heights (or simply the Golan), the coldest region in Israel. The vineyards on this volcanic plateau rise from 400 meters (1,300 feet) above sea level to 1,200 meters (3,900 feet) and receive snowfall in the winter. The Golan Heights Winery is located in the town of Katzrin, in the central Golan. |
