Nervo is a splendid series of hillside vineyards located
in magnificent positions at the heart of the village of Treiso.
This Barbaresco of extraordinary personality is a big, rich wine with great balance and a long life.
As is our custom, the Nebbiolo grapes are picked when they are fully ripe, and immediately crushed.
The must is then left to ferment in special heat-conditioned tanks at a controlled temperature.
When the alcoholic fermentation has ended, the ideal conditions
are maintained in the winery for a complete malolactic fermentation.
The wine is then stored in stainless steel, before ageing for more than a year,
partly in small barrels made of French oak, and partly in traditional casks.
It completes its development in the bottle.
