| Wine maker notes |
| Monterey County has sandy soils and diverse climates which provide excellent growing conditions for varietals
traditional to Burgundy in the north and Bordeaux in the south. Cool air from Monterey Bay helps to produce a longer growing season for grapes, while also allowing extra “hang-time” on the vines, giving way to a characteristic depth and concentration of flavor. Our Pinot Grigio is crisp and light with good texture and acidity, offering delicate flavors of citrus, peach and apple. It makes an excellent accompaniment to fish, soups and many vegetarian dishes. |
