In 2005, two-time Oscar winning film composer Gustavo Santaolalla and Raul Orozco founded Cielo y Tierra. in Lunlunta (Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza). The 24 acres of vines, ranging from 14-40 years of age, are planted predominately to Malbec with small quantities of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Winemaker Juan Carlos Chavero reveals the inherent fruit and typicity of this Argentine terroir.
